At InMotion, we understand that recovering from an injury can be challenging, especially when it affects your ability to manage everyday tasks. That’s why our dedicated occupational therapists offer Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments to support injured workers, often funded through SIRA or Workers Compensation programs.
These assessments give us a clear picture of how someone is coping with essential routines like personal care, household tasks, and getting out into the community. From there, we identify areas where extra support could make a real difference, whether that’s through specialised equipment, therapeutic aids, or simple adaptive techniques designed to make life easier and safer.
But we don’t stop at recommendations. Our team also provides hands-on training to ensure clients feel confident and comfortable using any new tools or strategies. And when needed, we can suggest practical home modifications or services such as domestic assistance, gardening, lawn mowing, window cleaning, and even pet care, all aimed at creating a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery and independence.
At InMotion, we’re here to help people regain control, feel empowered, and move forward with confidence. If you or someone you know could benefit from an ADL assessment, reach out to our friendly team. We’re always happy to help.

At InMotion, our team provide Functional Assessments to help understand how an injury or disability affects everyday life. These assessments are often used for NDIS Access Requests and funding recommendations, and they help us identify the right supports to boost independence and quality of life.
We look at how clients manage daily tasks like personal care, household chores, and community access, then recommend tools, services, or strategies to help them thrive. Our team uses a mix of assessment tools to get a full picture of each person’s needs.
