Our Paediatric Psychology clinic provides all your children's needs under one roof. We understand that the best way to ensure your child achieves their potential is to engage with you and your family throughout the assessment and therapy process, including the development of goals and your home program. Cognitive assessment (also known as an IQ assessment) is a specialised assessment of intellectual strengths and weaknesses. Its purpose is to establish academic potential and assist in the diagnosis of specific learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, or areas of giftedness.
IQ- Intelligence Quotient Assessment
What it involves:
- Cognitive (IQ) Assessment- 2 hours in the clinic
- Report Preparation- 4 hours
Intellectual Disability Assessment
What it involves:
- Cognitive (IQ) Assessment- 3 hours
- Adaptive assessment- completed by caregiver
- Report Preparation- 5 hours
Specific Learning Disability assessment
What it involves:
- Cognitive (IQ) Assessment- 2 hours
- Achievement (WIAT-IV)- 2 hours
- Report Preparation- 5 hours
Autism Assessment
An Autism Diagnostic Assessment can help parents and caregivers understand their child’s behaviour and support early intervention.
The ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R ) which are considered the “gold standard” standardised diagnostic tools for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This test can be administered for individuals as young as 12 months of age all the way to adulthood

- ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2nd Edition)
- ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised)

Our Psychologists can provide clinic consultations, at home consultations or visit your child at school, which ever suits your situation and lifestyle.
Funding Options
We are registered with the NDIS for those who have access to NDIS funding otherwise sessions can be paid for privately or also rebated through Medicare.
